My Typeface Collection (15)

Created on: 23 Apr 2023
The typefaces of my current typewriter collection, in no particular order. Album in progress.
  • Olympia Bulletin # 28, 10 cpi, on my SM4.
  • Standard Pica on my only electric typewriter; my Sears Medalist 12. It’s also my only 12-inch carriage. Four of my 16 typewriters have Standard Pica.
  • The Sears Change-A-Type Mathematics Kit. (Sears Medalist 12 was made by Smith-Corona and features changeable keys).
  • Esquire, 10 cpi, on my Torpedo 30.
  • Italic, 11 cpi, on my Voss.
  • Lettera 22 typeface, 11 cpi, on my first run Olivetti Lettera 22; before the typeface was called Bodoni.
  • Standard Pica on my Gossen Tippa ultra portable. QWERTZ layout. I have already included my Sears Medalist 12 Standard Pica QWERTY; not pictured QWERTY Pica Smith-Corona Super, or Remington Monarch.
  • Standard Pica on my Hermes 3000. QWERTY layout.
  • Pica Cubic typeface on my Adler Contessa Deluxe.
  • Spencerian Script typeface on my Royal Aristocrat. If memory serves me correctly I think this is 12 cpi.
  • Olympia Script # 69 typeface on my Olympia Traveller. This is 11 cpi. (Differs from Olympia Script # 75, which I don’t yet have.)
  • Elite Imperial, 12 cpi, on my Facit TP2.
  • Standard Elite, 12 cpi, on my Bluebird 18B. U.K. characters (British Pound symbol and extra fractions). I also have Standard Elite typeface on my Royal Quiet Deluxe produced in Canada.
  • Reiner Consilium typeface on my Maritza (authorized Princess clone). QWERTY layout with Spanish characters.
  • Imre Reiner, 1900-1987: typographer, architect, graphic and type designer, author of several books. Designed the Reiner Consilium typeface on my Maritza. Also available on Olivetti typewriters.
